Yes you can exercise with hair extensions!
Be diligent with how much chlorine you expose your hair to, it will dry out, sometimes discolour and damage your extensions... natural hair too!
Because this is real human hair and you are treating it with the utmost care and attention it will still get split ends, every other re-install appointment be sure to get a ends dusting just like you would your natural hair.
Be sure you are pre-booked for all of your removal & re-install appointments every 6-12 weeks (depending on type of extensions) so you don't run into any matting, tearing or just simply annoying grow out of your extensions!
Coming for a removal & re-install to move your extensions up? Please come with freshly washed & dried hair so that I am not putting in dirty extensions as they do not get washed if you request a hair wash after the removal, you will be charged a blowout fee additionally!
PLEASE REFRAIN FROM DRUGSTORE BRAND HAIR PRODUCTS & ANYTHING YOUR FRIEND SO & SO MAY HAVE TOLD YOU TO USE UNLESS ITS PROFESSIONAL GRADE STYLIST RECOMMENDED!!

Hairextension hair care
• important notice•
The first 2 weeks after your install if anything undos or tangles I will fix it with no charge. If more than 3 weeks pass by it’s your responsibility to maintain and take care of your wefts or hand tied!!
A fee of 45$-60 will be charge per row after the 3 weeks if anything happens.
Just got a fresh set of extensions, or a fresh re-application? After your extension implementation, do not wash or even wet your hair for at minimal 48 hours. The longer you can go the better to let them adhere. HAND TIED OR FLAT WEFTS, at least 12 hours!
Heading to bed after a long day? Low back braid or pigtail braids to keep the extensions in place with your hair down to help them stay in place while sleeping & not tangle, or in a really high bun on the top of your head secured with a scrunchie!
Itchy at the scalp? Do not brush your scalp directly where the tape or weft lays, do not excessively scratch, do not rotate the tape base to sooth or put any sort of heat source right at the scalp/base of the tapes, this can cause tearing or slipping of your extensions… What I do recommend is lifting the extension up and tapping or lightly scratching the tingle if you must.
Wash day? Cooler water temp & SULPHATE FREE ONLY shampoo & conditioner (for tapes because the sulphate breaks down the tape adhesive resulting in slippage) for wefts any professional hair care shampoo and conditioner. ANY AND ALL products not bought in salon are not guaranteed to keep the health/longevity of your extensions. Conditioner only on mids to ends of hair, conditioning the tabs and wefts can cause them to slip out.
Now to blow-dry! After washing and towel drying really well, spray a leave in conditioner/detangler on the mids-ends, while using a detangling brush for wet hair (hairbykaesha brushes are the best obvs ;)) hold the base(tapes & weft rows) & brush from the ends up. Better option, air dry (they dry in a STUNNING wave style) Keep in mind the temperature of your blowdryer near the tapes(cooler air). WEFT EXTENSIONS you MUST blow-dry the weft rows(tracks) then proceed to air dry the rest, this allows for no harm to your natural hair!
Styling time! Using hot tools? Keep heat away from tape tabs, always use a thermal protection spray for color, shine, health & all around longevity of the hair. Even if you are restyling your day 2, 3, 4, 5 or more hair, every time you go in with heat you must use a thermal spray!! Heat is very harmful to the hair and the color longevity as well!!
Bedtime again!? But this time you washed your hair in the evening... Never go to bed with wet hair!!! Why? the elasticity in your natural & extension hair can expand & snap just like an elastic, this is for all hair not just extensions! This time around you can't air dry, refer back above to the blowdrying & braiding steps before bed!
